Hello to the hundreds of subscribers of this newsletter! I’m going to have much less time than usual this week, so I’m not going to be able to keep this newsletter up to date for this week, but I will be back to it soon!

Yet, I can’t leave you hanging entirely. So here are links to the meetings today, June 12, 2023:

• The Bedford County Board of Supervisors have a work session at 5 p.m. and a regular meeting at 7 p.m. The work session is on the FY22 audit. (meeting portal)

• The Goochland County Board of Supervisors have a special meeting today at 6 p.m. The main topic is a public hearing on adding the Courthouse Village Small Area Plan to the Comprehensive Plan. (agenda packet)

• The Charlotte County Board of Supervisors have a regular meeting at 6 p.m. One item on the agenda is an update on the work being done on the Comprehensive Plan to update the policy on utility-scale solar. (meeting packet)

• The Buckingham County Board of Supervisors have a regular meeting at 6 p.m. One item on the agenda is a public hearing for a change to the zoning ordinance to allow for private recreational facilities to be a use allowed by special use permit in industrial zones. (meeting packet)

• The Mecklenburg County Board of Supervisors meet at 7 p.m. There are two items on the agenda to receive parcels from the school system and from two rescue squads. (meeting packet)
